Activities Communication
1.
Regularly read the Youth section of the Sunday bulletin and The Challenge.
2.
Check for announcements and sign up sheets on the Youth Bulletin Board just
inside the entry on the lower level.
3.
Visit the St. Luke website often.
4.
Do not discard postcards and letters that come to you from St. Luke.
When you get fan mail, READ IT!
5.
Follow the sign up procedures outlined for the activity. Honor the
deadlines. We cannot guarantee space or a program when we do not year
from you.
6.
In an effort to have the good news of St. Luke youth activities circulate to
everyone, make sure we have your e-mail address. Phone calls from adult
volunteers and your peers will be made to remind you of certain events.
Communication is a two way street… We expect you to call us when you have
questions or an idea or whatever. TOGETHER we will strengthen our awesome
youth ministry! |
Young people at St. Luke
will develop their own vibrant relationships with God and with Christ’s
church and become people of Christian faith, love, and justice.
The four components of youth
ministry are:
worship, study, mission, and

Opportunities
for Youth
Children’s Sunday School Teacher
assistants are really helpful in our ministry with children. Volunteer
to be a “Shepherd.”
The little kids love you! Contact Amy Marks or Beth Ramsey.
Sunday “Faith Friends” This is a new
format of recreation time during worship. Organized play is provided for
3 yr. olds - 3rd graders. Volunteer. Contact Joyce Bonafield.
Paid Childcare Occasionally we need to provide childcare for evening
meetings or events. To put your name on the list,
call Jennifer Kirk.
Liturgist Assist in worship leadership by leading prayer or reading
scripture. Contact Marilyn Lingard.
