Major Gifts Focus
Back
-
Develop awareness of the cutting edge work being done in our community and the
world.
-
Actively seek places where major gifts of St. Luke money could make a
difference.
-
Recommend allocations of major gifts to the team.
The Major

We seek a
distribution of project types. This giving allocates 19% to
international projects, 21% to national projects, 13% to west suburbs of
Minneapolis, and 46% to Twin Cities urban projects.
The group
continued to use the decision criteria and screening process used by the
Building Campaign’s 1-to1 Giving Group:
·
Creates
sustainable change
·
Organization
has a clear vision with specific goals
·
Project will
not happen without St. Luke
·
Potential for
congregation involvement
·
Meets an
immediate need
·
Project has
demonstrable results
·
Cost
effective use of resources
·
Clear plan to
measure success
·
Organization
has a history with St. Luke
These criteria
are not the only basis for selection, but are the main considerations in
our prioritization.
